Daily Devotional : Day 3
California and Colorado
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. HE is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Today we pray forgiveness of our personal sins. The sin of falling asleep as a church and allowing the enemy to steal our nation and children. For not calling sin, "Sin".
For not standing up for our children. We stopped watching, pretending we were being "good" christians by being okay with everything God says no to. All the while the enemy came in and polluted the church and America. I am as gulity as anyone. As long as it wasn't affecting me I turned the other way, not wanting to tip the apple cart. I was okay with "those sins" because God is love, right? Yes He is, but He is 100% just and pure. I have no right to let those sins slide. I am not God and I don't get to set the rules. Those were set for us and written in the bible centuries ago. I always say, "if you create something out of nothing you get to make the rules". I think that's fair! His way is right and for our good. We are on a path of complete destruction. Return today.
Repent today of personal sin. TURN to the One, Jesus, who can save you because this world is fleeting and eternity forever. Amen!
