Mature Christians are less dependent on themselves and increasingly dependent on Christ. As we mature in Christ we stop making much of our works and progress but make much ado about Christ and His works through and in us. We get about our father's business. We know that Jesus will provide all we need and don't focus on what we lack. We stop looking to man to rescue us and dig deeper in relationship with Him knowing He alone supply's all we need. We don't sit idle and assume God will soon feed us. We make an effort, move forward on our callings and BELIEVE God will meet us
and make a way. We bear fruit!! Good fruit. We step outside ourselves and serve others. This is in direct contrast to the world's narrative of me first, do what feels good or fear and distance from your neighbor. I learned this little gem years ago. To bring true JOY to your life, serve in this order:
