Daily Devotional: Reinvigorate your weary soul in a world that offers only sinking sand on God's solid rock today.
1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child, when I became a man I put the ways of childhood behind me.
Maturing in Christ
The only way to grow in Christ is to be stretched. Let us be encouraged in the Lord as He expands our spiritual wings.
A mature Christian is one who
stops thoughts of children or evil as infants but thinks as adults; 1 Corinthians 14:20.
We as Christ followers need to test what we see and hear and put it to test against scripture, 1 Thessalonians5:21. We need not be deceived by false teachers who spew words that are half truths. If we know God's word we can't be led like sheep without a shepherd to be devoured by wolves who run along the herd. These false teachers speak the world's religion to gain notoriety and worldly praise. They are only concerned with numbers and worldly gain. They speak the world narrative for sake of "inclusion" and will compromise the truth of God to gain it. Do not let these word's penetrate your heart or mind as they lead to destruction. Be careful not to be deceived, for many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ, do not go near them, Luke 21:8.
So let us continue reading and studying God's word. Put to test all we hear. The holy spirit will show the truth.
Let us See with eyes as adults and grow in faith.
