Men of Courage Series,

by Dale Nuss

2 Samuel 10:12 Be of courage, be strong and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of God. And may the Lord do what is good in His sight.

Men today are judged by how much money they make, their possessions, jobs or success. The true test of a man is fortitude. Webster's dictionary defines fortitude as strength of mind that enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain or adversity with courage and strength. This is the strength that God gives.

For quite some time I have been praying for men of courage, Gods warriors, to stand and fight. Men of courage there is a war going on right now and the enemy is trying to steal our children. The news media is filled with horrific atrocities perpetrated on children. Young children sold, raped, kept in cages, trafficked for sex or domestic slaves. I've been all over the world, seen the women and children in pain beyond belief, heard their stories of murder and rape. Their eyes are seared into my mind. These aren't just stories from across the ocean, in the United States our own children face many of the same atrocities. I could tell you story after story of my own children and the horror they faced. When are we as people of God going to rise up and say, "ENOUGH!!" I'm not going to let this happen anymore. When will we say this isn't going to happen on my watch, in my neighborhood, my community or my country. At what point are we going to stand and tell the news networks, hollywood or even society they can't dictate how we think or act. We need to put God first and let Him do what is good in HIS sight.

Men of courage where are you?

If you want to get involved contact me through the Selah Mountain Ranch website or our Facebook page. We are looking for those longing to fight this war together with God in the forefront.
