Paws and Ponder
Dogs live in the moment...we live in the future...Dogs are happier
Have you ever felt the weight of an impossible task?
Have you ever known deep in your inner most being...you were called, "for just a time as this"? Yet you have the hopeless feeling of not being able to make whatever "it" is happen? You just KNOW God called, yet the weight is so heavy... you can't figure out "the how" to do it?
I have been struggling for weeks with this exact dilemma.
Esther 4:14...says Queen Esther was given the task of begging for the lives of her people, the Jewish nation, after the king was tricked into signing a proclamation that would cause their annihilation. She was stuggling if...how...could, would she ask for her peoples lives? Presenting herself to the king without being summoned was to put her life on the block. Yet...(beautiful read!)
My struggle isn't about my life but the death of the ministry I know God called us to 18 months ago. God has asked us to believe His word and actions even though we CAN'T SEE how this mission will continue. Believe me I've tried in my own strength; physically and mentally to figure out the answer. After weeks of praying (begging) non-stop for answers...what I hear is... You were put here for just a time as this!
I don't know much; but what I do know is; in our weakness, He is made strong. In our hour of need God doesn't leave nor turn His back on us (Deut 31:6). We have a hope for a good future...not death (Jeremiah 29:11). If He calls you to it, He will bring you through it
These are all Gods promises. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8). Even though they was written 1,000s of years ago...Gods promises are the same today and the future. You see God is alive, truthful and constant. We need not worry about How, Why or Where? We can rest and trust in the peace of knowing God's got this!! I have never and I mean NEVER known God to show up late. I do know He is faithful and will always show up in His perfect timing...the perfect time. You see I've been stuck in the how? When I should just WALK in the He will! He called us to it...so He will see us through it.
